This is a great way to warm up before a gig.
Just start at an average pace and graduately build up speed as you go

keep going as far as your fretboard goes and then back down again.
Try to sync your left and right-hand fingers, ie play both index-fingers
together, then both middle, both ring and both pinkies together.
(unless you play with a pick ofcourse :-D)
You can also add some variation to this theme like skipping one
finger on each hand, skipping a string or even alternate between
strings:
